Dupont's New Table Lighter resolves that compromise with a single mechanism: a trigger that slides for one flame and presses for another, keeping both available without requiring a choice.

Two Flames, One Trigger

The trigger mechanism is the New Table Lighter's defining technical achievement. The sliding action opens the wind-resistant soft yellow flame — refined, controllable, suited to cigarettes and close work. The pressing action opens the torch flame — powerful, direct, the standard for cigar lighting and outdoor use. The transition between them is immediate and deliberate, built into the geometry of a single control that the hand learns quickly. It is not a compromise between the two flames. It is both of them, on demand.

Line 2 Heritage / Diamond-Point Guilloché

The New Table Lighter draws its design language from S.T. Dupont's archives and from the iconic Line 2. The body is finished in the Maison's signature glossy black lacquer — the same deep, saturated black that defines some of the most striking lighters in the catalog. The cap is decorated with a diamond-point guilloché: a pattern of precision-cut diamond-head crosshatching that catches the light and gives the cap a texture that the smooth body does not. The golden finish runs throughout the trim, accents, and mechanical components, bringing warmth to a combination that is otherwise all discipline.

The Table Lighter Format

At 115 × 65 × 24mm and 325g, the New Table Lighter occupies the desk with authority. Its scale is not a pocket lighter's scale — it is larger, heavier, and more present. It sits. It waits.
